- Wireless communication interference.
- Receiver hardware failure.
Troubleshooting
Step 1 – Verify Receiver Power

Verify the receiver has power.
If equipped with status LEDs, confirm they are illuminated.
If the receiver is not powered:
- Restore power to the receiver.
- Wait approximately 30 seconds.
- Check if the controller connects.
Step 2 – Move Closer to the Receiver
Move the controller closer to the receiver.
Large buildings, steel structures, or other wireless devices may reduce communication range.

Wait approximately 10 seconds.
Restore power.
Allow the receiver to fully initialize before testing communication again.
Step 5 – Verify Receiver Configuration
If the controller continues displaying Scanning, verify the controller is configured for the correct receiver.
If the receiver was recently replaced or reconfigured, it may need to be paired or programmed again.
Step 6 – Test Communication
Once the controller connects:
Verify:
- Game clock starts and stops.
- Home score updates.
